Youth Arts & Crafts

Join CRC for a fun after school craft project.  One date will be fun Halloween projects and the other date will be Christmas projects.

Date:          Wednesdays, October 22 & December 17

Age:            4 years old-2nd grade

Time:          3:15-4:00 p.m.

Fee:            $5.00 per class

Mother & Son Bowling Night

Mothers, aunts, grandmothers and caregivers are also welcome to bring their special boy(s) to this event.  As a group you will receive a picture, small single topping pizza, drinks and get to bowl together.  For additional children pizza sizes increase to next size per child.  While bowling you may  be paired up with other groups.  Space is limited.

Time:          6:30-8:30 p.m.

Fee:           $15 per couple, $5 each additional child

Goofy Experiments

Short experiments to expose young minds to the fun world of science.  Some experiments may get a little messy so please wear appropriate clothes.

Candy Cane Flashlight Adventure

Bundle up & get your snow boots out for another fun family flashlight adventure.  Similar to an Easter egg hunt, but Santa and his elves hid many yummy candy canes around the Fairgrounds for you to find.  Participants will be required to bring their own flashlights (no spotlights are allowed), and may collect a total of 10 candy canes.  Children 8 & under must be accompanied by an adult.  We will not be able to take any new participants the night of the event.  Bad weather, event will be held at CRC building.

Tae Kwon Do

Great program that teaches self discipline, respect, fitness and more.  Black belt Kraig Seglem of Kim’s Academy of Tae Kwon Do is holding classes in Cheney for all ages. Individual or sign up the whole family for this great fitness activity.   New session begins each month.
